- A full data analyst bootcamp from a major school costs €6,400 to €9,000 in France in 2026. Live online formats start at around €500.
- The curriculum changes little from one school to another. The price gap comes mostly from the format (campus or online), official certification (RNCP) and the level of support.
- Public funding depends on where you live. In France, the CPF account covers certified programs, and you pay €150 out of pocket.
- Before signing, ask how many hours are taught live, who grades your work and what happens if you drop out.
2026 prices, school by school

Why prices differ so much for similar programs
Put the curricula side by side and you will find the same building blocks almost everywhere: Excel, SQL, Power BI or Tableau, Python with Pandas, basic statistics and, more and more, AI applied to analysis. The price difference lies elsewhere.
- Format. A campus is expensive: city-center rent and on-site staff. A live online bootcamp does not carry those costs.
- Pace. A 40-hour full-time week needs more teaching hours than a 10- to 15-hour part-time week.
- Official certification. Preparing a qualification registered with France's RNCP makes a program eligible for public funding, but it requires paperwork, assessment panels and fees. Those costs end up in the price.
- Support. One-to-one feedback, mentoring, interview preparation and follow-up after the course are the most expensive items for a school, and the ones that change your results the most.
- Marketing. Advertising, sales advisors and a network of campuses can also weigh on the final price.
Compare the price per hour of live teaching, not the total price. Take two made-up examples: a €7,000 bootcamp with 300 live hours and a €2,000 one with 50 hours do not buy the same thing. On the other hand, an expensive program made mostly of recorded videos often gives you little more than a free online course.
What you are really paying for
To compare two offers, check what is included, line by line. Here is the checklist we recommend.
| Item | The question to ask | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Live classes | How many hours a week, and with whom? | You learn faster when you can ask questions the moment you get stuck. |
| Recordings | Are sessions recorded, and for how long can you watch them? | Essential if you work or live in another time zone. |
| Feedback | Who grades the exercises, and how quickly? | Without feedback on your mistakes, you repeat them. |
| Projects | How many projects, using real data? | Recruiters often care as much about your portfolio as about the school's name. |
| Career | Resume, LinkedIn, mock interviews, introductions? | This is often what separates finishing a course from landing a job. |
| Access afterwards | Do you keep access to the materials? | You will come back to them in your first data job. |
| Cancellation terms | What happens if you stop? | A refund or a free transfer to a later intake limits your risk. |
How to fund a data analyst bootcamp
If you live in France
The CPF personal training account funds programs leading to a certification listed in one of the two national registers (RNCP or RS). Two rules changed in 2026. Since April, you pay €150 out of pocket per application, with some exceptions, for example for jobseekers or when an employer tops up the account. Since February, programs leading to an RS certification are covered up to €1,500, while RNCP qualifications are not subject to that cap. France Travail, Transitions Pro, employer training plans and work-study contracts can also cover all or part of the cost.
Everywhere else
Outside France, or if you have no training credit, the price you pay yourself is what counts. Look at three things: an installment plan, pricing adjusted to your country, and live classes at hours that suit your time zone. Many employers also have a training budget: ask your manager, especially if the skills will serve your current role.
The cost people forget: your time
A two- or three-month full-time program means you stop working. If nobody covers your salary, that lost income often exceeds the price of the course. A part-time format at 10 to 15 hours a week takes longer overall, but you keep your income and can apply what you learn as you go.
As for equipment, a recent computer and a good connection are enough. Apart from Excel, most tools of the trade have free versions: PostgreSQL, Power BI Desktop, Tableau Public and Python. Alteryx offers a free trial.
"Choose the program you can see through to the end, without going broke or leaving your job."
Six questions to ask before you sign
- How many hours of live teaching in total, and how many recorded videos?
- Who are the instructors, and do they work in data today?
- How many projects will you complete, and does someone review each one?
- What certification do you get, and can it be publicly funded where you live?
- What career support is included, and for how long?
- What are the refund and transfer terms?
Be wary of job placement rates with no method behind them. Ask how many graduates they are based on, when they were measured and what the school counts as a job.
What about DataSAI?
We would rather be transparent, since we are in this table too. The Data Analyst Bootcamp lasts 10 weeks, live and remote, at 10 to 14 hours a week. It covers Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python and AI applied to analysis, in 38 modules. All sessions are recorded and you keep access for life.
The curriculum is the same for everyone; only the level of support changes. Plans range from €490 for full access with a graded final project, to €2,490 with one-to-one mentoring and career support. Outside Europe and Africa, the same plans are priced from $539 to $2,739. These launch prices are valid until 18 December 2026. If you change your mind, you get a full refund up to the end of the first week of classes.
What we do not offer: the DataSAI Data Analyst certification is not a French state-registered qualification, so it cannot be funded through the CPF. If public funding is your only option, a CPF-eligible program will suit you better. If you are paying out of your own pocket, live outside France or want to keep your job, the price gap matters.
Conclusion
In 2026, a data analyst bootcamp costs anything from a few hundred euros to nearly €9,000, for curricula that are often similar. Before comparing prices, decide what you need: a publicly funded certification, a pace that fits around your job, or intensive support toward your first role. Then compare live hours, feedback and projects rather than the headline price.
FAQ
What does a data analyst bootcamp cost on average?
In France, full bootcamps from the big schools cost between €6,400 and €9,000 in 2026. Lighter live online formats start at around €500 to €1,500, and work-study programs are free for the learner.
Can a bootcamp under €1,000 be enough to become a data analyst?
Yes, if the program covers Excel, SQL, a visualization tool and Python, with live classes, graded exercises and a final project. What cheaper offers most often leave out is support: feedback, mentoring and interview preparation.
How long does a data analyst bootcamp take?
Two to three months full time, or six to nine months part time. Some online formats fit into 10 weeks at 10 to 14 hours a week, so you can keep your job.
Can I fund a bootcamp with public money?
It depends on where you live. In France, the CPF training account funds certified programs, and since April 2026 you pay €150 out of pocket per application. Elsewhere, look at employer training budgets, installment plans and country-adjusted pricing.
I live outside Europe. What should I look for?
Live online classes at hours that suit your time zone, recordings you can watch later, an installment plan and a price in your currency. Check that the school answers your questions quickly before you pay.
